TikTok FIFA World Cup Correspondents Revealed — Meet the Creators Capturing Football’s Biggest Stage

As the 2026 FIFA World Cup opens up in North America in June, TikTok will be at the centre of the action, providing coverage from all angles. It was previously announced that it was a “Preferred Platform” for the quadrennial soccer tournament, but now it’s been revealed who the creators will be who will represent it during the tournament.

 

The starting line-ups of most soccer teams consist of 11 players, but TikTok’s starting line-up is 30 – it is announced that creators from four continents will be reporting directly from the World Cup as TikTok’s Creator Correspondents. Those correspondents’ coverage will be much more than just match reviews. Creators will also be there to train, to attend press conferences and even be on the team bus when they arrive as they attempt to cover all the bases of the beautiful game.

 

“Soccer culture is being defined by a new generation of creators on TikTok who are true fans of the sport and have spent their time creating vibrant communities based on their love of the game,” said TikTok Global Head of Sport Rollo Goldstaub in a statement. It’s the biggest stage in soccer, and both programs are providing these new faces who have spent their lives watching these leagues, players and teams the opportunity to tell the story of the tournament.
