The Ukrainian military has successfully launched unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on an important nighttime raid on June 23 against key defense facilities. The set objective was in the vicinity of Kerch, a strategic port city of temporarily occupied Crimea.

The strikes were made with great precision and destroyed several targets of great value, which left a significant effect on the capabilities of the local radars and anti-aircraft systems. This is another prudent effort to strike back at the forces that are engaged in the conflict in the area.

Reporting by NV and intelligence sources indicated that, as a result of the coordinated action, several important Russian military assets were completely out of the game. The loss of these particular networks leaves a significant gap in the area’s defense.

One of the lost equipment was the Pantsir air defense missile-gun complex. This type of system is extensively used for close-range defence against attacking aircraft and munitions.

The strike also removed a very sophisticated Nebo radar station, one that is mainly used for wide-area surveillance and for tracking targets.

In addition, there were several Orion drones destroyed on the ground during the operation. The hi-tech unmanned aircrafts, which were thought to be costly for reconnaissance and combat strike, were suddenly neutralized, and that proved to be a significant tactical triumph.
