On 22nd April, all crew members survived as a Turkish military transport helicopter crashed during a training flight in the Temelli district of Ankara.

In a statement, the Turkish Defence Ministry said that a CH-47 heavy transport helicopter of the Army Aviation Command crashed for an unknown reason during a training flight.

This statement also included that the actual cause of the accident shall be ascertained after a thorough investigation, which has already been initiated by the authorities.

According to the official statements, on Feb. 25, a Turkish Air Force F-16 fighter jet crashed in Balikesir province, killing the pilot.
