Vietnam Night Gala, which was held in the Thiskyhall Convention Center in ITE HCMC 2025, was a cultural and tourism-related night full of life. Themed “The Flow of Quintessence“, the event demonstrated the traditions of Vietnam, its creativity and hospitality, as well as emphasized the fact that Ho Chi Minh City is increasingly gaining popularity as an international tourist destination. Vietnam saw the arrival of leaders, representatives, and representatives of other cultures of the world to experience the beauty and diversity of Vietnam.
Vietnam Night was not just a cultural show, but it also represented the history of the country to modernity. Based on the Mekong River, which has been a source of life and a source of connection for centuries, the gala blended conventional performances, music, and cuisine with modernistic influences. The symbolism of the river was growth, strength, and harmony, which was a powerful communicative manner of the Vietnamese cultural setup and collaboration with the international community in the future.
Performances That Connected Cultures
The night started with amazing performances, where one of the performances was a shadow dance named “Welcome Ho Chi Minh City”, and the other musical mash-up welcoming foreign friendship. Ho Chi Minh City was shown in a short movie titled “Ho Chi Minh City -The Flow of Quintessence”, which portrayed the change of the city, the old temples mingling with the new high-tech buildings, and encouraging green tourism. The historical and narrational aspects were introduced to the life of traditional martial arts performances, Cai Luong theatre, and colorful choreography.
There was also an Ao Dai fashion show named “Heritage Quintessence” taking place during the gala, in which the designers redesigned the traditional dress with inspiration from the historic craft villages. This was followed by a food festival of the various cuisines offered in Vietnam, and this was enjoyed by the guests. To make the night culturally rich, a ritual of pouring rice was introduced.
ITE HCMC 2025 was organized in the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center and had the theme of “Sustainable Tourism, Vibrant Experiences.” The expo emphasized sustainable traveling, new solutions for tourism, and Vietnam’s desire to be a leader of sustainable tourism in Southeast Asia. Vietnam is striving to be one of the best global travel destinations with its good combination of tradition and modernity.
