RSM Kids Raise Money for Youth in Need During Charity Event

The three local children of Rancho Santa Margarita on Sunday, August 24, showed that kindness and generosity have no age limits when they hosted a back-to-back school charity event that was a combination of fun, creativity, and community spirit.

The event called “United We Drip” was organized by Ace (9), Cana (11), and Coen (10). More than 150 children and their families came together to donate toys and raise funds for kids experiencing hardships. The attendees of the event enjoyed games, arts, crafts, a graffiti wall, and other interactive activities designed to bring the community together.

Ace Christopherson, founder of the Ace of Hearts Project, pointed out that they wanted kids to know that other kids care about them even when they are having a hard time. After seeing so many kids turn out in large numbers with donations bigger than themselves, it feels that even small actions can make a great difference.

This heartwarming effort was conducted entirely by the three young organisers alongside the founders of Rip Drop OC and the Ace of Herts Project. Parents and volunteers provided support, but the vision and leadership came from the kids themselves. The generosity of Rancho Santa Margarita families was highlighted at the end of the day. Thus, it came in the form of a powerful reminder that compassion isn’t defined by age- it is defined by action.
