Riyadh will mark 70 years of diplomatic relations between Saudi Arabia and Japan with a vibrant cultural celebration on October 31 and November 1. The two-day Japan Festival, organized in partnership with the Japanese embassy, will be held at the Cultural Palace in Riyadh and is open to the public free of charge.

The festival promises an immersive experience into Japanese culture, featuring traditional performances, interactive workshops, tourism exhibits, and corporate showcases. A highlight of the event will be a special traditional Japanese theater performance, with full details to be revealed soon.
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore various aspects of Japanese life, from art and food to modern innovation, through hands-on activities and engaging displays.
The festival aims to strengthen cultural ties between the two nations and invite Saudis to experience Japan’s heritage in a unique and festive setting.
