The intelligence division of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has detained a three-member team of the Israeli spy group Mossad in the western Iranian province of Kermanshah.
In a statement on 27th March, the IRGC intelligence service in Kermanshah said that the terrorists have been in direct collaboration with Mossad officers.
The statement noted that the terrorists, who were headed by the Mossad officers, were aiming at creating insecurity in the streets as well as conducting sabotage acts against military personnel and in sensitive locations.
According to it, a great number of weapons, a significant amount of pellets, gunpowder and fuses to make bombs were seized in their hideout.
On Thursday, the Intelligence Ministry of Iran announced that it had arrested 14 mercenaries hired by the US and the Israeli regime in the provinces of Kermanshah, Alborz, Fars and Kerman.
The ministry announced that in Kermanshah, a working group of a terrorist group was destroyed after three of its members, along with their head, were located and apprehended.
Their hideout was raided, and a large number of homemade explosive devices, a significant amount of gunpowder and fuses to make bombs, a handgun and three Starlink satellite internet terminals were taken.
The ministry claimed that a Germany-based person led the operational cell, which was to conduct terrorist operations such as attacking key state and media buildings, in the province.
The calls are made after the Mossad involvement in the January 2009 riots of foreign origin in Iran, and also their activities of starting insecurity within the Iranian territory alongside their aggressive actions in tandem with their actions against the Islamic Republic.
