Iran’s top security official, Ali Larijani, has warned that fueling political divisions after the recent ceasefire would be a “serious mistake.” He stressed that unity is essential, especially as the region continues to face threats.
Speaking on Wednesday, Larijani said some groups wrongly assume the conflict with Israel is over and are trying to weaken national cohesion. He noted that differences of opinion are natural, but “emphasizing divisions at a time like this only helps the enemy.”
According to the SAEDNEWS, Larijani said, “Differences of opinion over methods and solutions are natural, but highlighting divisions at the time of a ceasefire with the enemy is a strategic mistake.”
Larijani also highlighted the importance of protecting people’s livelihoods. He said the government has taken strong steps to safeguard economic stability, calling it a key factor in keeping the country united.
