California Democrats Consider Counter-Redistricting
The response has been cautioned by Governor Newsom that California may redraw its own congressional maps to respond. Such a Democratic redistricting plan would provide more Democratic advantage districts during the midterm elections. Trump has already presented his new domestic policy bill, which is being discussed by both political sides. The bill also has severe cuts in funding to health care, which the Democrats intend to exploit as a big campaign point in their bid to win the elections.
