The festival, India Day, will be organised in Gostiny Dvor in Moscow on August 20-23, and will bring people and culture together, Indian and Russian communities, to promote people-to-people relations and celebrate the heritage of both countries.
The forum will offer a platform for sharing ideas and opportunities for enhanced economic and institutional cooperation between BRICS countries.
As there is an increased cultural and economic relationship between India and Russia, the day will be used to promote India’s traditional values and make the people more familiar with each other’s culture.
The event is also expected to draw visitors with an interest in Indian practices, arts, wellness and cuisine, as well as open up networking opportunities for businesses and institutions.
The TV BRICS International Media Network will be the international television partner of the festival, helping to cover the festival and various cultural and business events.
