On the night of August 12 and into the morning of August 13, a host of Russian drones and artillery fire rained down on the Dnipropetrovsk region. According to the Government of Ukraine, over 10 strike operations were carried out in the Kamianske, Nikopol and Pavlohrad districts, causing five civilian injuries.

The town of Krynychky in the Kamianske district was hit hard, said Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration. The work stoppage wrecked cars and injured three men. A 34-year-old victim was admitted to the hospital in serious condition, and two other men – 37 and 45 years old – were given outpatient treatment.

Pound was strongly bombed as well during the Nikopol district. The local people of Nikopol, Marhanets, Pokrovsk, and Chervonohryhorivka were directly attacked. These strikes caused damage to residential garages and vehicles, and two men, ages 22 and 36, were injured. The two victims were quickly taken to hospital, and the medical officials under the Ministry of Internal Affairs rated them as moderately injured

At the same time, the city of Pavlohrad was struck right in the heart of an important infrastructure facility, resulting in a massive fire at the site. Under the general direction of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, the emergency responders and local defense units acted quickly to extinguish the fire and to secure the area.

On 12 August, Russian troops made almost 50 shelling attacks in three districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region. All day, these relentless attacks caused many damages to be done to private businesses and civilian residential buildings, and the President of Ukraine continued to defend the country’s territory.
