On May 21, marking the 75th anniversary of the diplomatic ties between China and Pakistan, an exhibition titled “Enduring Culture, Profound Friendship,” celebrating Chinese culture, was inaugurated at the Lahore Museum. The exhibition will be on display for a month.
The exhibition is organised by the Consulate General of China in Lahore, and it showcases various cultural relics that demonstrate China’s rich history and heritage, as well as traditional Chinese arts and crafts, such as tea ceremonies, calligraphy, painting, and costumes.
One of the most striking parts of the exhibition is a special photo gallery that shows a collection of photos documenting the movement of the past 75 years since the beginning of friendly exchanges between China and Pakistan, highlighting the stories of interaction between the leaders and citizens of both countries through pictures.
It also presented Chinese cultural and creative products from the Chinese institutions, such as Sichuan Vocational College of Cultural Industries, Xiamen Nanyang University and Suzhou Art & Design Technology Institute, featuring works that explore the essence of Chinese civilisation, integrate local intangible cultural heritage techniques and blend them with modern creative design.
