The Russian military reacted to the recent strikes by unleashing a series of attacks on defence industries and energy facilities in the Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Odesa regions.

In response to recent attacks, Russian military forces have been initiating a series of attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure and rear positions, Az reports, quoting 1TV. There were reports of explosions in the regions of Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Sumy and Odesa, wherein strikes were reported to be targeting defence manufacturing plants, supporting energy facilities and military arsenals.

Russian tank forces in the Zaporizhzhia region dealt with and destroyed fortified posts and electronic warfare (EW) posts. After neutralising these systems, reconnaissance forces found a flow of Ukrainian equipment and troops aimed at a reverse attack. Once coordinates were passed to artillery units, units of the Msta took up positions against the targets, which led to the destruction of the hardware, and staff reported.
