President Volodymyr Zelenskyy revealed about the attack and noted the casualty count as 14 during his nightly video sessions and added that the rescuers are at work in recovering people from the sites. The Ukrainian Interior Ministry said more than 1,200 police and rescuers were tackling the aftermath.
As dozens remain in critical condition under medical care, the count increased to 16 as bodies recovered by the rescue team from under the rubble. This attack marks the first time most children were harmed in a single attack, the rescue team said since the full-fledged war thus far.

“Today the world has once again seen Russia’s response to our desire for peace … Therefore, peace without strength is impossible”, Zelenskyy posted in his Telegram page Russia had launched more than 300 drones and eight missiles.
Ukrainian military airfields and ammunition depots as well as businesses linked to what it called Kyiv’s military-industrial complex were targeted and hit, informed Russia’s Defence Ministry.
Russia, although denies targeting civilians, has increased their aerial ammunition in the past months near the cities that are far from the war front. After three unfailed peace talks initiated by Kyiv in Istanbul, the war still affects thousands of civilians. A day of memorial mourning has been announced by the city for the civilian lives and the children since the war’s commencement in 2022.
